Current Projects

Vixen Gnat De Havilland Aviation Ltd has completed a number of prestigious projects over the past ten years, including work on Vampires, Venoms, Hunters and Jet Provosts, all of which have been restored to 'flying' status and can be seen at air shows today around the world.

More recently we have been working hard on the Sea Vixen XP 924 which is now back in it's true 899 Squadron markings, and the ex-Red Arrows Gnat XR 537. At the time, the restoration of the Sea Vixen was the most complex aircraft renovation ever undertaken by a civilian aircraft maintenance company. However, De Havilland rose to the challenge and competed the whole project fulfilling all the CAA requirements and checks in full.

Both of these projects have been complicated and required full commitment from a large team of people. Keeping these aircraft in the sky is a huge commitment, and we are always looking for new corporate sponsorship.
